Wow! Time flies when you aren't paying attention. Our little Johanna is now a big girl 4 year old little miss. The theme for her birthday party this year was butterflies. The weather for her birthday party was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better. We were blessed to have so many of our family and friends at Johanna's party. Somehow we managed to get all the couples with kiddos to come together. It was lots of fun. Enjoy the pics.

Jonathan's 7th Birthday
Jonathan decided he wanted to do a Star Wars theme for his birthday. He asked me to make him a lightsaber cake. I think it turned out okay. I learned that lots of frosting is the key to making any cake work.

Christmas 2010 @ home in Nebraska
Christmas 2010 was fairly low key. On Christmas Eve the kids and I went to the family service at our church to see the story of baby Jesus. And that evening the kids got to open their stockings. Daddy stayed home to rest.

Christmas morning we opened our presents. Santa left presents for the kiddos-Jonathan got a gumball machine and Johanna got a Christmas princess book. I made Johanna a bunny stocking hat and Jonathan's collection of Calvin & Hobbes books is now complete.

The Johanning's ventured north to Nebraska this year for Christmas. Mah, Pops and Uncle Allen arrived on Wednesday evening. Uncle Stan, Aunt Jenn and Cousin Jake came on Thursday. We opened presents in the afternoon and had a lovely dinner in the evening. The kids enjoyed playing with their new gifts and spending a few days hanging out with the family.

Thanks to all who made Christmas 2010 so great!
