The Fort (and some T-ball)

When it gets too hot to play outside, we need to find things to to do inside. One of our favorite things to do is build a fort. Today we read several books and played a game of chess in our creation. Here are some photos of the most recent version of THE FORT.

It's interior is lit by Mommy's quilting light.

This version of THE FORT uses clothespins to hold the sheets in place (far superior to the Chip Clip of previous versions.) If you're short on clothespins, a fitted sheet allows you to attach the wall without the use of fasteners.

The downside of using fitted sheets is the tension can cause a less sturdy support to tip over. When that happens, it's good to have a heavy textbook handy. We prefer to use "The Bard," although any Norton Anthology will work.

Here's a clip of Jman's at-bat at his T-ball game last Saturday and a random cute picture of J-girl.
