Mother's Day & hallway driving

Mother's day 2009 was very nice. In the morning we took the kids to the Lincoln Children's zoo where we got to see all the new animals. Jonathan rode on a pony and we saw the newest pony addition to the zoo-born that morning. So cute. We updated our photo of the kids sitting on the giant bronze turtle. The male peacock showed off his feathers as we walked by. We ate lunch at the zoo and then headed to Jonathan's soccer game.

He scored 3 goals! We're still trying to figure out where he gets his athletic ability. Jonathan's the blond kid in the center (light blue t-shirt).
After the soccer game we headed to Ivanna Cone for some delicious ice cream. The family agreed that daddy's ice cream was the best-peach. Yummy. We stopped at a great new bookstore next door to the ice cream shoppe. I ended up buying books for the kids-I can never resist. The only blip in the day is when Johanna puked in the car on the way home. We're not sure why. She seems to be feeling better now. We ended the day with watching the Simpsons and eating pizza. It was a great day.
We also wanted to include a recent video of the kids playing together. We're calling it Hallway Driving. It was so cute to watch them. Enjoy!

The sound effects of hallway driving make it VERY believable. All they need now is a really loud horn to sound! Wouldn't mom and dad like THAT? :)
